About Me

Raz Bernardino

A few random little things about me

Hi! I am Razoniel Bernardino, a Chemist by profession, a technology enthusiast and a post teenager guy from Tarlac, Philippines. I am usually called “Raz” for years by those who had known me in school and “Jay R” or simply “Jay” by my relatives and our neighborhood. These nicknames became my escape from my unique name – as I usually need to spell my real name everytime I introduce myself to others. I barely leave the house to look for someone to talk to on  the streets. I have a limited number of friends but I am not the type of “anti-social” person.

Although I have two older brothers, I grew up like an only child. Well, technically, it is. I have more than 5 stitches right here on my chin that I gained during grade school using two sets of chairs.  I love drinking milk even when I already turned as a teenager. But, that doesn’t mean I hate coffee. For real, I love them both. During grade school, some of my classmates call me Bronson because they say I am a look-a-like of one of the characters in a Judy Ann Santos – Ryan Agoncillo Filipino movie. Well, because I am so thin and absurdly dark that time. Then, when high school came, some people mistakenly identified me with a foreign blood of a Korean or a Thai. Hearsays are also common that I am just an adopted child of my parents.

I graduated from Tarlac State University in the year 2014 with a degree in BS Chemistry. I love reading about things that deals about innovations and technology in the internet but I found satisfaction in dealing with various science experiments too. With that, I am a frustrated IT person that did not pursue his first choice. Not mentioning that I am also a Medical Technologist aspirant. This curiousness of mine brought me in the field of Chemistry, as I saw it as the greater coverage of sciences as well as technology.  Being the central science, I love Chemistry, especially those SciFi-like level experiments. *insert sound effects here*

I prefer to discover things and figure out answers on questions by myself rather than asking abrupt questions to people. I am a backstage-type person and I do well managing and preparing things for use by others. I am a bit touchy to details and always wanted to shell out the best out of a project or activity.

Currently, I am running this blog, //razbernardino.com and //spideylab.com as my hobbyist escape from my normal day to day life.
